Generated meshes are not manufacturable, and that is fine

Generative 3D is useful for judging a direction and useless for making a part. The value is in the handoff between the two.

Three generated mesh variants of a handle, with one of them rebuilt alongside as a dimensioned parametric solid.

A generated GLB is geometry you can look at. It has no parameters, no manufacturing intent and no tolerance story. Treating it as a model is how a visual study ends up in a quote.

Use it for the question it answers

The question early on is which direction is worth modelling. When generating a variant costs about a credit, you can ask that question five times instead of once, which is the entire point.

Then promote the winner properly

The chosen form gets rebuilt as a parametric solid with named dimensions. From there it behaves like any other model: defeature it, draw it, export it.

Keep the exploration attached

Because the generation, the rebuild and the render happen in one conversation, the reason a form was chosen stays next to the model that resulted from it.
